Numbers generator

speedyPDM offers you convenient mechanisms for automatic number assignment for documents and articles as standard. This allows you to number your SolidWorks®, Inventor® and AutoCAD® files uniquely without having to keep a number book.

You can assign your own number ranges to each document type and additionally integrate project names and project numbers. The administration is thus enormously simplified, the use of a separate Excel list is no longer necessary.

Copy wizard

With the integrated copy wizard, speedyPDM duplicates existing assemblies, parts, PDFs, etc. from SolidWorks®, SolidEdge® or Inventor® so that they can be used as the basis for new designs. New numbers are immediately assigned and the references are updated.

You decide individually which subassemblies you want to copy. This optimises your processing and saves you valuable time.

BOM management

Working with CAD parts lists (e.g. SolidWorks parts lists, Inventor parts list, AutoCAD parts list) is essential for complex mechanical engineering projects. Due to the important function of parts lists in CAD projects, speedyPDM has found functional approaches to optimise work with the CAD parts list.

speedyPDM has its own module for processing the parts list. In this module, parts lists can be subsequently changed, e.g. the quantity can be adjusted. The type of parts list can be adapted as required, e.g. as a spare parts parts list, milled parts parts list etc. In order to adapt the parts list to individual requirements, items can be added manually, e.g. equipment such as cables or hoses.

Your parts lists are always up to date thanks to automated updating of the data material. With speedyIMPORT, you can even transfer parts lists from old projects without the hassle of re-entering data. All processes and changes can be viewed in our dynamically growing parts list.
